EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA : |
Organised
exhibitions on the Life & Message of Swami Vivekananda at Ludhiana/Amritsar.
The Exhibition consists of light weight 40 multicoloured beautiful panels with writings in
English & Hindi. These panels have been prepared by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore.
The concept of display panels have been widely appreciated by the public.The Exhibition
can be arranged in any educational institute or at a public place in the State of
Punjab/H.P./J& K/Haryana and Chandigarh without charge on request.For holding this

| Declamation Contest in Schools/Colleges : |
The
Circle has organised Swami Vivekananda Declamation contest (on the topics related to life
and ideals of Swami Vivekananda) in more than 80 different schools and colleges located in
the northern part of India and has established Vivekananda Trophy in those institutes.
Sincere efforts are being made by the members of the circle to arrange these types of
functions regularly every year. The prizes in the form of Books on Swamiji and
Certificates are provided by the circle. With the humble efforts of the Circle 22
Schools/Colleges & other organizations have established Swami Vivekananda Shelf in
their libraries to make the literature available to the readers. |

| Chicago
Address Anniversary Celebrations : |
- Since 1994, the Circle celebrates the
Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Address(in the World Parliament of Religions,
Chicago, USA) during the month of September/October. On this function,
the eminent persons from different parts of India and Abroad are invited to grace the
occasion.

| National Youth
Day Celebrations : |
Since
the establshment of the Circle, every year on 12th January (the Birthday of Swami
Vivekananda) is being celebrated as 'National
Youth Day' by organising
functions in various Schools to convey the message of Swami Vivekananda among the youths. |
| Since 2002 every-year the
Circle honour the selected students from different Colleges of Punjab with
ROLE MODEL AWARD on the occasion of "National Youth Day" celebrations. |

| Foundation Day
of the Circle : |
| Every year on 11th
June the Circle celebrates its Foundation Day. |

| In addition to regular
celebrations, the Circle has also organised : |

Bhajan
Sandhya : On the eve
of Nirvana Divas of Swami Vivekananda, the circle organised Bhajan Sandhya on 5th
July,2001 at Ludhiana. A large number of Eminent artists recited Bhajans on this occasion.
Sh. J.B. Goyal, IAS ; Sh C.S.Talwar, PCS and many other eminent persons graced the
occasion. |

| Similarly, the other branches of the circle (at
Bathinda, Amritsar, Gunyana Mandi, Delhi, Jalandhar and Chandigarh) are also holding
various activities at their respective places. |
